TELL US YOUR STORY!
Let us know what you are doing to help end human trafficking and sexual exploitation of children. Tell us why you are passionate about this issue.
Have you organized a fundraiser? Handed out fliers? Written a song or poem, or painted a picture? Maybe created video? Spoken on the topic of human trafficking at school or to a group?
We what to hear what you are doing, so we can share that with others to inspire and encourage them. The best way for human trafficking to end, is for enough people to get involved raising awareness, getting the word out, and supporting organizations that are getting the job done.
Maybe you have been the victim of sexual exploitation or abuse and have found a way out. Your story could provide the courage and inspiration to someone still caught in that horrible situation. What happened to you might be a wake up call to someone else that will prevent them from a similar fate. Please share your story. Of course, you may remain anonymous if you prefer.
Whether you are an activist, supporter, or survivor, we want to hear your story. Tell your story the way you want to tell it.
There’s no right or wrong way. Remember: It’s your story.
But if you don’t know how to begin, here are some suggestions:
- Tell us a true story.
- Speak in your own voice. Speak your truth.
- Think of your starting point and your ending.
- Think about what you want to say. Think about what you don’t want to say.
- Details are the heart and soul of a story. Don’t be shy to include the senses: sight, sound, smell, taste and touch.
- When sending to us for consideration, please keep your recorded stories under 5 minutes; your written stories under 1,000 words; and your photos limited to 10.
Please send video, audio, photo and Word files to: email@example.com
